London, TVs, Dawson's Creek, Changes

I know, I know, it’s been way too long since I last updated this blog. It’s just quite a lot of work to update all the travelogs for my ToyVoyagers and this blog. But some things have happened since I last updated this site :)

In June I went to London for a week together with Martijn. That was really great. We visited all the major museums, we went to Westminster Abbey and we went to the British Library, which was together with Westminster Abbey the highlight of my vacation. I mean, I saw a version of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles. That was so amazing! That manuscript was written in the tenth century and I was able to see it with my own eyes! That was so cool! I also saw a Gutenberg Bible and Shakespeare’s First Folio. It was so great. I also really enjoyed my visit to Westminster Abbey. It was really special to walk around there and see all these tombs and memorials. Of course I loved the Poet’s Corner, but it was really impressive to see all the tombs of the great kings like Charles II and others. I thought it was very special to walk around in a country where everyone speaks English and I felt at home there. Once we figured out the Underground system, it was easy enough to get around the city. I had a great week and I’ll go back any time :D

I’m also still active both on Postcrossing and on ToyVoyagers. I’m currently hosting three TVs: Ceryni, Bellatrix and Moony. It’s still a lot of fun to take pictures of them and make up stories around them. I’m expecting to host a lot more TVs the next two months.

I’ve been watching a lot of episodes of Dawson’s Creek lately. I have the first three seasons on DVD and I think it’s a great series. I’m currently watching Season Two and I’m enjoying it thoroughly. I know, this season is from 1998, but I still like to watch it. I also went to secondary school in that time, so I can relate to it very much.

There may be a life change for me ahead, but I can’t say too much about it yet. I have a meeting about it tomorrow and we’re gonna see what comes from that meeting. As soon as I know more, I’ll let you know.
